Introduction
The Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) is a national examinations body approved by the Federal Government of Nigeria in December 2013. The Board was formally established in April 2014 by a consortium of ten (10) partnering universities, led by the University of Lagos.
JUPEB is responsible for conducting standardized examinations for candidates who have completed approved foundation courses for a minimum of one (1) academic session at partnering and affiliated universities across Nigeria.
Successful candidates are awarded the JUPEB Certificate, which qualifies them for Direct Entry admission into 200-level degree programmes at their preferred partnering or affiliated universities.
Following Christopher University’s application for affiliation and its fulfillment of the stipulated requirements, the JUPEB Governing Board approved the University’s application and granted Christopher University full affiliation status with JUPEB on 16 February 2017.

Admission Requirements
To be eligible for admission into the JUPEB programme at Christopher University, candidates must:
- Possess a minimum of five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language.
- Obtain the required credits in not more than two (2) sittings.
- Ensure that the subjects presented are relevant to the candidate’s intended course of study at the University.
Duration of Programme
The JUPEB programme runs for a minimum of one (1) academic session, comprising two (2) semesters.
Direct Opportunity
The JUPEB programme provides a pathway for successful candidates to gain Direct Entry admission into 200-level undergraduate programmes at Christopher University and other participating JUPEB-affiliated universities, subject to the relevant admission requirements.

Requirements
Method of Application
Follow the steps below to apply for the JUPEB Programme at Christopher University:

Pay the Application Fee
Visit any of the designated bank branches and pay the non-refundable application fee of ₦25,000.00.

Access the Online Application Portal
Visit the Christopher University website: www.christopheruniversity.edu.ng
From the homepage, click on the JUPEB link, or navigate to: Admissions → JUPEB

Complete the Application Form
Fill out the online application form carefully and provide all required information.
You will be required to upload:
- A recent passport photograph.
- A clear copy of your payment deposit slip.

Passport Photograph Requirements
The passport photograph must:
- Be in full colour.
- Have a plain white background.
- Be taken within the last three (3) months.

Application Processing and Notification
Once your application has been successfully processed, a notification will be sent to the email address provided during registration.
